Are you able to follow psychosocial plans? Do you communicate well with patients, families and fellow staff? Are you experienced in therapeutic behavioral health? We have a special place that needs your skills.



WHAT YOU WILL DO



  • Maintain established safety, environmental, and infection control standards.

  • Consistently follow operational procedures and protocols.

  • Provide appropriate direction when assisting in the execution and completion of Emergency Detention Orders (EDO).

  • Obtain accurate psychosocial assessment and documentation in the electronic medical record system.

  • Report clinical needs of the patient(s) to psychiatrist on call and Emergency Department staff as necessary.

  • Implement call psychiatrists' dispositions as ordered; completing all required forms; completing pre-authorization for admissions with payers; and notifying unit and/or other agencies of patients' dispositions.

  • Utilize community educational resources effectively.

  • Review procedures as requested.

  • Keep patients/families aware of assessment process and updating patients' status as warranted.¬ ¬ 



WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED



  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Strong knowledge base in the treatment of psychiatric and substance abuse problems.

  • Skills in initiative and good judgement and utilize appropriate resources available to ensure continuity of care.

  • Working knowledge of Mental Health Code.

  • Understanding and applicability of DSM-5.

  • Understanding of ASAM criteria and continuum of care in chemical dependency treatment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
