WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR


Medical materials management starts with many of the skills that any inventory specialist might need: the ability to inspect shipments for accuracy, experience maintaining inventory and processing paperwork, knowledge of how to stock, pick, and pack. In our hospitals, we need these steps with an extra attention to detail €“ after all, the equipment you're inspecting and handling might be used to save someone's life.


 


Do you have experience with Materials Management Inventory Systems (MMIS) software? Are you detail-oriented and able to receive, process, and deliver accurately? Can you give good instruction and work well with others? We have a great opportunity for you. 



WHAT YOU WILL DO



  • Receive and deliver needed supplies in a timely manner.

  • Count and inspect items for accuracy and damage.

  • Release, stock issue, pick, and pack requisitions.

  • Ability to operate necessary pallet jack or other supply transport equipment.

  • Inventory maintenance: cycle counts, stock rotation, reports shortages/overages.

  • Data entry into Inventory management system and other hospital systems.

  • Process necessary paperwork for returns and coordinating outgoing shipments.

  • Responsible for keeping storage areas neat, clean and in accordance with department policy.

  • Deliver, process, and clean moveable medical equipment when needed.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
